They’ve been dominating the world of metal since the late 1980s, cementing themselves as one of the most influential and successful bands in metal history. Revolution is their name, and throbbing bass, robust vocals and ‘the art of shredding’ is their game. They've caused massive tsunami-sized musical waves across the globe in the 1990s when they pioneered and popularized the groove metal subgenre, raining metal fire in every single venue they whirlwinded through.  

And now, hot on the heels of their first major tour in over two decades, and following a massive spring run with Metallica, Suicidal Tendencies, and a United Kingdom performance as part of Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osborne’s historic final show, Pantera has announced a mammoth summer 2025 North American amphitheatre tour. The heavy metal juggernauts are slated to shred from mid-July 2025 in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, setting over two dozen stages ablaze before wrapping up in mid-September 2025 in West Palm Beach, Florida. Their North American performances will feature Swedish metal giants Amon Amarth as special guests, along with other openers yet to be announced. 

Pantera is as strong as ever, featuring original vocalist Philip Anselmo and bassist Rex Brown, while the legendary guitarist Zakk Wylde and drummer Charlie Benante are slated to join. Every performance is filled to the brim with an onslaught of metal madness, with prolonged screams and growls as potent as ever, Zakk Wylde replicating the legendary ‘Dimebag’ Darrell’s iconic riffs and licks, combining a primal sonic brilliance and intensity with intricate technicality, a throbbing bass and pumping rhythms. Pantera is as much a force as they were when they dropped ‘Cowboys From Hell’, ‘Vulgar Display Of Power’, and ‘Far Beyond Driven’, feeding their rabid crowd of equal parts hardcore fans and newcomers some metal to die for. In short - while Pantera raise the fists for ‘Dimebag’ Darrell and Vinnie Paul, they are still shaking the earth, raising hell at every concert. 

The Jones Beach Theatre is about to be shaken in its foundations by the power-sounds of Pantera and the feet of 15,000 fans pouring in to catch them live in action. The venue sports scenic views, state-of-the-art lighting and sound, and seating spread across an orchestra section, two stadium-style seating areas, as well as a rear mezzanine level.
