This post hardcore band from San Diego has been rocking since 2007. The band signed with New York based indie label Equal Vision and released their debut work, A Flair for the Dramatic, with the album just performing moderately well on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart. However, their follow up album Selfish Machines, totally became their career defining work. Spawning platinum selling hits like “Caraphernelia” and “Bulletproof,” the album topped the Heatseekers chart and entered the Billboard 200 and the Hard Rock charts. In 2012, the band did even more awesome on the Alternative and Hard Rock charts when their third album, Collide the Sky went to number 1. The album busted out many highly acclaimed singles, including their most popular hit, “King for a Day.” Rising to prominence at this time, the band was quick to break into Billboard 200’s top 5 with their follow up Misadeventures, which also topped the Alternative chart. In 2023, Pierce the Veil dropped their latest album, Jaws of Life, which spawned, “Emergency Contact,” their first hit to reach number 1 on Alternative Airplay chart.
