The two rock personalities met 17 years ago when Collective Soul’s tour bus pulled up to a festival. Next to them was the bus of 90s rock icons Live. They met and became great friends on and off stage. This co-headlining gig is more than just a touring partnership but a reunion, here to bring the magical time of 90s rock to music fans of 2025. 90s icons Live made their incredible breakthrough upon releasing their 1994 work, Throwing Copper. The album spawned the band’s first ever number 1 rock hit, “Selling the Drama,” their first track to ever enter the Billboard Hot 100. Live would later release a plethora of chart performing this including two more number singles, “Lightning Crashes” and “Lakini’s Juice.” Live was incredibly prominent during the 90s with their albums Throwing Copper and Secret Samadhi. The band also enjoyed great success during the early 2000s with Distance to Here, V, and Birds of Pray.
The band made an amazing debut with their album Hints Allegations and Things Left Unsaid. The album notably gained worldwide recognition due to its lead single, “Shine,” which topped the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart and enjoyed number 11 ranking on the Billboard Hot 100. Collective Soul continued their winning streak with hits like “December,” “The World I Know,” “Where the River Flows,” and tons more other chart topping singles. Last year, Collective Soul released their latest album, Here to Etermity, which spawned hits like “Mother’s Love” and “Bluer Than Blue.”
