Simple Minds is finally hitting the road again, and we are ready to gobble it up!
It’s a feast of all the iconic hits, a celebration of decades of musical brilliance, and a journey through timeless melodies, powerful lyrics, and an electrifying stage presence for the books! Simple Minds will be bringing their tantalizing, dynamic live performance to audiences across North America and Canada for the first time in nearly four decades, proving to the entire world that they are very much alive and kicking! The ‘Alive & Kicking’ 2025 Tour is scheduled to kick off middle-May 2025 in Ridgefield, Washington, visiting all the major venues before wrapping up in June 2025 in Noblesville, Indiana. The tour also coincides with the 40th anniversary of their breakout single, ‘Don’t You (Forget About Me)’, topping the charts.
The legendary Scottish rock band achieved commercial success in 1981 with the release of their smash-hit single, ‘The American’. Even though their subsequent single, ‘Love Song’, catapulted the band into worldwide stardom, was it the 1985 release of ‘Don’t You (Forget About Me)’ that cemented them in the music industry as a force to be reckoned with. To date, Simple Minds has had 24 singles and 23 albums at the top of the charts, and sold over 60 million albums, making them the most successful Scottish band of the 1980s. Their awards include two ASCAP Pop Music Awards, two Q Awards, an Ivor Novello Award, and many other nominations. Simple Minds also recently released a new single, ‘Your Name In Lights’.

The Jones Beach Theatre is one of the most popular outdoor music venues in the New York Metropolitan area.
